We appear to near the threshold into a new pattern - good opportunity to start a new forecast/banter

Because they did, if you happened to take a look.

Average highs in the 80-83F range this time of year, so we'll take 70s all summer long. To me that's more of a "summer" feel as opposed to a "deep summer" feel ;)

Heres the difference . Several posters were posting like the Euro was going to verify or even had a chance to verify when most of us knew it didn't. The pattern has changed to deep summer and 50's or even 60's and rain just didn't make any sense given global setup. That's why many of us argued against it

I somewhat agree with you here but just b/c a global setup doesn't support it, doesn't mean it can't happen.  For example, when dealing with such a micro-scale phenomena such as BD fronts, all it takes is a tiny kink in the pattern overhead to allow such a thing to occur.  Now it may only last a day or so b/c of that global pattern but that doesn't mean it's impossible or can't happen.  For something like this you have to look more at the day to day runs (or hour to hour) and not look at the forecast for a several day mean.

So how is the "global setup" preventing a BD for late this week?

This wx blows. At least NNE cashed in on storms. Eff this.

Lol...my wife went for a run. I've logged 5 miles walking today and probably 2-3 more later. It's kind of uncomfortable but it's that old kid feel of summer. For me, like winter, I have no idea how many are left so I'm going to enjoy.

Give me this pool or beachside, not when you are moving. Ugh.

My condo has central air luckily. Moving stuff reminded me how awful those days were of hard labor in the summer. Like I said, no conplaints pool or beachside, although the last two evenings have been nice.

Central ac is nice! Big winter incoming!

You're moving?

Well I guess I'm still saying this with fingers crossed, but yes. Moving to Weymouth. We outgrew our condo. Time for a house. This has been the most stressful 3 months ever. Just stupid stuff like snags and almost losing the deal etc. I didn't even want to discuss because for a while I wasn't sure if this would happen. If all goes well and I hope....we close Friday.

We're getting into big bug season unfortunately. Hideous nocturnal creatures that you didn't even know existed will be crashing into your screens and floodlights. Moths with 6" wingspans and dobson flies will be sitting on your front door. I can't wait for the first freeze.

I remember these mud wasps or some sort of bee that drilled into the boards of the house....I think that's what they were....regardless, it would sound like a B2 bomber coming in. Just a massive flying insect at night buzzing around the corner boards of the house.

Tell me about it...my girlfriend just got out of the shower and told me there was a spider...it was on the shower curtain which is my biggest fear.  My mom took care of it!

Congrats.  Just closed myself and was moving today in the 90+/70+ weather.    Hope you can get some cool dry days.   Pretty brutal day out here but a beautiful evening.

Thanks man. Yeah it was not fun. Packed everything in a massive truck for the week, but enjoying the nice evening with a cold one(s).

Congrats! Big SE MA snow season on the way. Seriously in this market to snag something is good work!

I'm not even 10 miles as the crow flies. Just separated by Quincy pretty much. They do pretty good for snowfall and seem to get some good tstms along the zone stretching from srn ORH county on east. Excited for the move.

It's. nice spot...great beach location and easy access to Boston. And yes Weymouth seems to do fairly well snow wise avoiding alot of the PYM taint.

It wasn't our first pick, but pricing was right. I Acfually would rather be more on the s shore, but commute is important and it would be a disaster if I did. Can walk to the commuter rail and 15 min drive from the city. It's in a nice neighborhood and a good school around the corner for Bryce when the time is right. I'll miss the city though.

Yeah. Huge friggin things. Saw a gigantic moth last year. Way bigger than a Luna moth. Dobson fly larva are neat

Closing is stressful. They always seem to want some obscure document at the 11th hour. Good deal?
