Looks like the Euro caves to the GFS for the end of the week. Warm and muggy right through Friday for most so far.

Dew of 71 at KBAF... looks like the highest in SNE.

So far a high of 80F today...only the second 80F reading since June 2nd up this way.

 

Storms moving in so I'm not sure we'll get higher than that as these downpours will likely cool us down to the lower 70s.

Up this way the dews are pretty much all in the 68-72F range... widespread 70F or higher dews though.

 

 

But we dodged the big heat for at least a day... but you can easily see the heat streaking north up the valleys. That should over-take us to some degree tomorrow.

Well there was some wavering from other models a couple days ago, but yeah, it appears the Euro was late to the party. Hopefully we can start cranking out the convection now.

Also, euro 2m progs have been poor. Eg: today at 18z had under 80 inside 495 which is woefully bad for a 6 hour prog.

everything had it at one point or another. even the cmc which took the longest to catch on to the idea eventually had it dropping in.

 

but nice to see it washing out on today's runs.  in terms of sensible weather i'm not sure its going to make much difference...it'll be unsettled either way....just avoiding marine puke over most of the region instead.

still a 1020 HP east of maine at the end of the week so the  threat for a boundary dropping through the region is definitely still there.

 

today's run would just end up being a case where we are dealing with SE winds and clouds / showers and 70s.
