We appear to near the threshold into a new pattern - good opportunity to start a new forecast/banter

Btw it feels more humid today vs the ground truth of 84/56 BOS is giving. Anyone else notice this?

Its probably because we aren't use to anything close to hot weather right now.  Mid-80s must feel scorching.

I had a dew of 60F this morning and went for a hike and it felt downright oppressive.

Been raining since 3pm up this way... almost 0.3" in the bucket so far in just steady light-moderate rain.  65 degrees out.

Is marine air from nova scotia really gonna bring us humid wx with storms, what am i missing? Edit thanks for the maps, we shall see if they are underdone or change. Is there much confidence at this stage either way in the pattern thur-fri?. I.e being 62 or 80f for thur-fri.

lol this thread is so predictable

Haha yep. Follow the cycle of one poster making bold, outlandish statements, then all the other posters counter those statements, until eventually the former claims piggy-pile and gets frustrated. Then it quiets down for a couple days before starting the cycle again.

Meanwhile some weather gets discussed in there somewhere.

Half inch of steady rain this afternoon and evening up this way...just enough to make sure it's extra-humid as the temps rise over the next couple days.

The Euro run was cool and dank, with [probably] strata loading into to the bowl of SNE for at least 30 hours later next week.

It's not debatable.

What's different is that this Euro run isn't even a BD... It's straight up front from the WNW that ends up BD further down the MA.  But for us it's a standard transit.

6 a dozen .. it doesn't matter.. .The run ends up with a +PP in central N NE.   Also, the GGEM offered more of BD still.

If people are desperate, they may want to use the DGEX, the 18z had no front really at all.

Actually the 12z/18z GFS never gets the front through, and there's no BD.
