moneypitmike
Mike whats ur highest temp ever out there that you have seen (at the pit) Here's my station history (per wunderground's record) for yearly high: 2013 --- 87.9 2012--- 91.3 2011 -- 91.1 If memory serves me correcly, those two dates in 2011 and 2012 were the only dates that hit 90.0 or higher. For sh*ts and ggiles--my lows stink relative to many (most?). 2013 --- -4.8 2012--- -1.9 2011 -- -9.
MaineJayhawk
Summery morning out there---58.1/56 with the sun rising thorugh haze. It could lbe a lot worse as we begin the descent to fall. At least we have the early tinges of color beginning to form across the wearker trees (j/k). I've noticed the leaves are getting that leathery late-season look to them. Go, go, go!! Ginx snewx
Muggy with storms next weekend clouds and crap on both models, GFS slower with FROPO, cool too, low 70s and even upper 60s during rainy days. Some near 80s late in the period but no laying on the deck weenie exposed weather if their forecasts are right. hopefully we get on the NW side of that trough although things look even bleaker on ENS. Ginx snewx
Not deep heat but also not the ridiculous ideas some had of 50's and rain nobody HAD that idea they just showed model output. Days and days of deep summer is not in the cards. It sucks actually, ten days of vacation. Fishing will probably be excellent though. Tomorrow is not a heat day either, in fact my daily predicted highs for the next 5 days are 79, 79, 80, 81,82. TORCH!! CoastalWx
Not deep heat but also not the ridiculous ideas some had of 50's and rain Because 60s and a chance of rain really allows for those great summertime activities. Lets hope next weekend is your muggy special. I could see Saturday stinking.

powderfreak
Who cares. 350,000 annual skiers Perhaps this will be my first 400+" winter up here...that's my next milestone. Probably happens at a similar frequency of a 80"+ winter in BOS....so hard to do but not impossible. Go, go, go winter is coming. Daylight is now all downhill from here. But at least when you are sitting inside watching it rain you can be comforted by the fact that the dew point is 62F and not 56F, so when you log on to a weather forum you can tell folks at least the dew is in the 60s, so you're happy. Monday will be my first beach day, looks great, 80s and sun. Maybe some swell for some body surfing. Watched a great documentary on bodysurfing last night. Can not wait for the first offshore cane to send up some 6-10 foot swells.
