It always amazes me that of all the bigger cities in New England, such as Boston, Providence, Burlington, Portland for example, the weather of Tolland, CT a town of 13,000 people gets discussed the most....

There is a lot of noise coming from that redneck town.

Your trick our treat

Enjoy.  40s up here for dews.

Even 43F dew point at North Adams in the Berkshires, so that dry air isn't far off.

It is interesting though that there seems to be a narrow ribbon from BOS-BDL of near 60F dews, with dry air and well down into the 50s along the south coast and islands. Hyannis at a Td of 51F is pretty dry for near the water, even 50F down at BWI.

It's probably emanating from Kevin's yard.

I wonder if its just a fleeting thing or what... but very interesting axis of like higher dews.  Not often you see like 46F at CON...50F at Orange, MA...62F at BDL...and then 55F at BDR and 51F at NYC.  Like a bell curve from NE to SW.

Its almost like the west-east axis of heaviest rainfall departures over the past 2 weeks is where the axis of near 60F dews are right now.

Burlington is more of a large town as it only has 42,000 residents based on the 2010 census, and Portland is about the size of Greenwich. If we're going for biggest cities in New England they are: Boston MA, Worcester MA, Providence RI, Springfield MA, Bridgeport CT, New Haven CT, Hartford CT, Stamford CT, Waterbury CT, and Manchester NH.

Yeah, I was noticing that too... very odd that there seems to be lower dews in every direction from here.

Will, Fridays nt bad verbatim

I got E winds and low 60s on Friday from my plots (really upper 50s where the rain comes in earlier)...with afternoon rain. That doesn't look good to me.

I thought it looked better particularly with the trend of surface placent.

I thought it looked better too...but that is a relative term. It looked so bad the last two runs that it kind of only had to get better. If we have a high pressure stuck near Nova Scotia with a low coming in out of the lakes...then we're going to be back doored...its just a question of how lousy it is...if we stay relatively dry, we can have an OK day.
