nwohweather
All of them are fools, this is why people die in flash flooding. Eh my rule has always been if it's in a city your fine. Toledo and Maumee were flooded like crazy today from that storm but it was no problem. However if the flooding stems from a river, stay away
nwohweather
There was some high VIL and a 1" hail report south of Toledo. LARGE BRANCHES AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL OBSERVED ALONG ROUTE 20 IN PERRYSBURG. (CLE) Didn't get large hail where I was but driving through Perrysburg after dinner and saw lots of huge branches down and small trees as well

hm8
Stations around here *only* recorded about 2", but that on top of the rain we've had recently and Ann Arbor just having a lot of flood-prone areas has really caused some dramatic flooding in places....driving around just now, a saw a few small creeks that have turned in to straight up white rapids. More to come tomorrow...lower severe chance but PWATS will be big and storm motion slow

What sucks is the rain collection sensor went out at some point at KPTK, I would have loved to know how much they got there.

Hoosier
I must have a storm shield over me. Can't get a storm to save my life. Seems like it goes in spurts. Can go a long time without getting anything good and then there might be a lot of action in rapid succession.

aurora
By my count, 14 different severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for at least a portion of Oakland County so far this year. That is just impressive, we'll see if things stay this active for the 2nd half of the season.
