baroclinic_instability
Summer in AK is epic. This is my first full summer, and it has started off big after one of the worst springs in recent history.

baroclinic_instability
Thanks guys, and no problem. I love sharing photos from Alaska....it truly is unique country up here. The incredible Alaska summer continues. From Bird Ridge at 3500 feet. Hike starts at sea level and is quite steep. The views, however, are incredible. baroclinic_instability
^^Thanks guys. My favorite shot this summer, partly because this hike is something I wanted to since I got here. Pioneer Peak, a beast of a mountain over Palmer, the hike goes from sea level to 6400 feet. On the backside, got this view of Knik Glacier.
