Ginx snewx
Radar shows winds gusting to 45-50! In that band, power issues? OH and Kev bump in ur rump when you get up.
ORH_wxman
Just saw that BDL put up a -20 today on the high temp of 59F (normal for date is 79F). With the power of positive thinking, you can attain a monthly negative departure by June 14th despite the first two days being +14 and +15. Another win for the good guys. Simply magical. Ginx snewx
Youre not getting your 1-3 inches plus of rain man. Time to give that idea up and put the models away for a bit

CoastalWx
The meso models like the HRRR really showed this band getting its act together which made me have some confidence it would happen. That is a potent low and potent mid level features for this time of year...you don't have those go underneath you and nothing in return. Something's gotta give and we are seeing it now. ORH_wxman
Looks really healthy. I admit, I didn't think it would look quite this good earlier even though I figured we'd see significant redevelopment.

I admit, I didn't think it would look quite this good earlier even though I figured we'd see significant redevelopment. Yeah, impressive. Its getting to the point where it just wants to rain. Like we say in the winter when you get in those patterns where everything just seems to always come together and we say "it just wants to snow"....it seems like rain just wants to fall somewhere in New England since back in May just prior to the Memorial Day Weekend nor'easter. Also, may be close but I think this now puts the interior below normal for June (ORH and BDL) in terms of temperatures.

The back edge always seems to weaken when I'm rooting for snow. Now it's looking pretty healthy. The dry slot in RI is even filling in.

Max rainfall rate on the Davis was 1.24/hr Most interesting feature though was the increase of wind that arrived with the band. Gust to 31 from NE. Total for today only .44 however monthly total just under 9 inches (8.83).

Clears out abruptly by 8 or 9, you get an hour of blue-bird sky, then it's a pancake breakfast until 3. Could...actually, should do that with all this insane BL/soil wet.
