moneypitmike
It may affect it somewhat, but the same processes tht help generate precip in the winter are very much in tact and will aid in heavy rain across parts of this region. If this were winter, this thread would have added ten pages already this morning. No one too excited about rain.
moneypitmike
I probably should comment less after I just wake up, because it looks like deformation nation may set up not too far from what the 06z GFS shows. Maybe I should get my rubbers out then.

Damage In Tolland
And the misery has begun.. Rain falling..another day in the 50's..Unreal for June Thankfully it's a quick mover. GFS killed the euro on this one. I remember there was disco on here it would start late this evening and Friday would be a bad day. Now rain is over by 9:00am tomorrow and afternoon is nicer with mid-upper 60's.

Ginx snewx
The last misery (50's and rain) until October Hopefully, summer always starts best when the kids get out of school, no worries about late June , July August. Folks like to rush summer but in reality from the 21st of June to the 21st of Sept is our summer.

This year not so much. Looks like we can salvage the last 15 days September is the best summer month, no rug rats around, no tourists at the beach, learned many years ago that, similar to skiing in March, all the GP has moved on to other things leaving the real good stuff to the locals and learned. Plus Sept water temps are blessed , best surf and best fishing, oh yea Sept is by far my favorite summer month and much warmer than June in all recreational areas. ORH_wxman
Its coming, make no mistake. Everyone will get 1-2 inches I think. I don't think it is slow enough nor long enough period of ML fetch onshore to get really big amounts...but I'd be surprised if anyone got less than 3/4ths inch.
