gymengineer
This event seems pretty comparable based on reports so far to 7/25/10 given that it seemed to center on northern Loudoun/Montgomery County headed eastward: http://www.erh.noaa.gov/lwx/events/squall_line_20100725/ That event was a huge deal around here with extended power outages comparable to the derecho. 09-10 analogy
Coupla crappy pics coming and going, from Ft. Reno. Winds gusted maybe to 50, torrential rain for about 15 minutes and then, poof, it was gone.
wxmeddler
Chased the book end vortex, saw almost nothing. It gusted out right when I got to it. Saw a few bendy trees. Max damage was a twig with 3 leaves.

mdhokie
Looks like it was mostly heavy rain and some wind here in Severn. Not much debris at all, couple leaves here and there. Backyard is a pond.

SabreAce33
Got a pretty good cell here in SBY, the remainder of the one that started near Orange and passed through St. Marys. Weakened over the bay and caught a little steam again once ashore. Power is out here, but not a lot of visible damage. Estimate we briefly gusted to 55-60. First severe weather season being a dad so I'm a little more cautious.
