THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...

  NORTHERN NEW CASTLE COUNTY IN NORTHERN DELAWARE...

* UNTIL 515 PM EDT

* AT 438 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A

  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THE STORM

  CONTAINING THE POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS NEAR GLASGOW...MOVING NORTHEAST

  AT 30 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...

  PIKE CREEK AROUND 450 PM EDT...

  STANTON AND NEWPORT AROUND 455 PM EDT...

  ASHLAND AND HOCKESSIN AROUND 500 PM EDT...

  TALLEYVILLE AND ARDEN AROUND 510 PM EDT...

WHEN A TORNADO WARNING IS ISSUED BASED ON DOPPLER RADAR...IT MEANS

THAT STRONG ROTATION HAS BEEN DETECTED IN THE STORM. A TORNADO MAY

ALREADY BE ON THE GROUND...OR IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SHORTLY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER INSIDE NOW. DO NOT WAIT TO SEE OR HEAR THE TORNADO. MOVE

TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST LEVEL OF A STURDY BUILDING. PUT AS

MANY WALLS BETWEEN YOU AND THE OUTSIDE AS YOU CAN. AVOID WINDOWS.

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.

Tiny spin-up in the middle of the forest in Patuxunt River Refuge in AA co.

 

I was looking out my north-facing 4th floor window in Bowie, but couldn't see anything... the clouds are so low they just disappeared into the trees.  I saw it on radar and figured something was going on because when the cell went by to my west headed north-northeast, it was definitely rotating.
