Ian
I was under the impression we were rooting for the pre-frontal trough in the early afternoon. That's the timing I'm worried about wrt clouds.Would prob be better than the front for supercells and such but this is the DC area after all. snowfan
New SPC outlook discussion does a good job of highlighting uncertainty. Mainly discussing how they aren't sure if that stuff in OH is our stuff or if new stuff will form. It would appear (based on traj) that we're hoping for new stuff to form. nw baltimore wx
Little bit of sun in Greenbelt...line strengthened back in Columbia looks like. I'm in Columbia and the radar doesn't quite match the obs. It got super dark, and now it's raining, but nothing really heavy and no local thunder or lightning. mattie g
The lightning difference per wunderground between MD and VA is amazing. Gusty showers. Looks great on radar though.

Sparky
There was a heck of a period of hail and strong wind when that b**ch came through. I was sitting at a Royal Farms store and ended up moving my vehicle up under cover by the gas pumps when the hail got larger. I had 0.92 in the rain gauge when I got home.
