nzucker
A record should be broken tonight....I think.I'm down to 55F in Dobbs Ferry so the low temperature will probably be about 10 degrees below average. I think you would need a clear night to snag a record low...some places on Long Island like Westhampton have reached 32F as late as the summer solstice. Even Dobbs Ferry had had a freeze as late as 5/18 and more recently 5/10 in 2010. You need radiating conditions to break nighttime lows for the most part. Juliancolton
Loving this storm. I keep feeling the urge to walk outside with camera and yardstick. Unfortunately, that's not as much fun in times of liquid precip. Radar has that "look" to it this evening, for sure.

NortheastPAWx
Has changed to snow at Scranton & High Point. Mostly snow with some rain still mixed in at Allentown & Morristown. Sleet mixing in as close as Teterboro. We picked up just over an inch here in NEPA tonight from the deform band.

IsentropicLift
The 12z NAM also has a pretty good squall line blowing up over the area on Sunday. Southern NJ gets the brunt of it this run but we would still get something

jm1220
Wow, the low developing the way it did caught me off-guard. I wasn't expecting the steady rain that developed and the comma-head presentation for a time, but I guess in mid June it can still happen that way. I thought we were done after the initial line of storms yesterday. It still wasn't enough for the widespread flood watches and the 3-4" of rain Upton predicted 2 days ago, but still a more noteworthy event than we expect this time of year. It was enough to cause minor flooding here. The first flooding begins in my town at 12'. Also Lincoln Park and Wayne are experiencing some flooding as well. IsentropicLift
18z NAM puts us in the warm sector on Sunday. Could be a decent chance at seeing severe weather. Not great timing as it has rain in here by early afternoon. The 12z GFS is further south with the track of the low and would give us more rain
