The area has a chance to get clipped by the mid-atlantic (del-marva) MCS that is developing. Most of the modeling had the coastal going nuts and throwing precip back our way once that happened and maybe that is part of the reason why the activity now appears to be moving more SW to NE from DC. We'll see.

SOUTHERN SOMERSET COUNTY IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY...

MIDDLESEX COUNTY IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY...

MONMOUTH COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW JERSEY...

* UNTIL 1145 PM EDT

* AT 747 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED

MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE ADVISED AREA. UP TO

TWO INCHES OF RAIN COULD FALL FROM THE STRONGEST SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

THIS WILL BE ENOUGH PRECIPITATION TO CAUSE LOW LYING AND POOR

DRAINAGE FLOODING
