Goes without saying but anything deviating right today could be extra dangerous. Low level shear is pretty good but you could argue we are lacking that more than instability, but anything moving right could take advantage of increased low level SRH.

Extra upwards motion/piling up of the column. Heightened rotation potential.

 

If something does fire on it; like yesterday, I'll have a good view.

Wow, I was surprised when I saw it was upgraded to High Risk today for west OH valley (slept a long time into today), and the first of the year too after everything that happened in the 2nd half of May in the plains. No storm reports for last evening? Good luck guys, hopefully its a very interesting day...I know I'm left in the cold in this one.

Watch for that stuff to eventually tap the boundary layer though. The cell near Waverly is already exhibiting a little more right movement than the rest.
