CoastalWx
Look at this ageostrophic flow. This is extremely impressive from a synoptic standpoint in June. Look at those wind vectors south of Long Island going across the height lines instead of parallel to them. That is a winter-like setup right there. Wow. Baroclinic Zone
might as well shoot for 10 inches by mid-month. That may not be too far off for many. 5.64" here. Add 1-2" tonight/tomorrow. Throw in 2-3" end of the week. Rivers won't know what hit 'em.
Tropopause_Fold
i get a strange level of enjoyment from kevin getting an extended period of undesirable weather. i know he loathes cloudy, cool, wet weather in the spring and summer almost as much as he hates warmth in the winter. tamarack
That area may actually have the most as far as New England as a whole goes. Maine got away easy Fri-Sat, with 1-2" most places. Would probably take 3"+ tomorrow to cause serious problems, unless it all came down in 6 hr.

Damage In Tolland
how do you describe today?See here's the thing. Temps in the 50's with rain and wind are awful. But once you get the dew over 60 like today with rain it's not awful feeling. Sure temps are not warm but its a totally different feel than Friday was. It feels summery with the dews . Agreed?
