So no chance it could scoot north into CNE or directly over SNE?

Slim chance into SNE, but this current low is helping to lock the next one underneath us.  Sometimes these lows that are born from convection aren't exactly modeled correctly....but I think the odds of a track into NE CT are rather low.

When does the rain come in Thursday in your view? Can we hold it off till dark?

Maybe it holds off until 4-5, but I expect a rainy drive home for you.

Left in heavy rain last night and returning in same Thursday.

That rain came in a little quicker than my original thought, but cigs and vis went as expected. I trust you left on time?

Sky has that real bright look to it like sun wants to break out but just can't do it. Winds have veered SW though

I wonder if you stay SW, the zoomed up sat shot has clouds moving from NNE to SSW into nrn CT near Union.

June sun may actually succeed in cleaving these clouds apart.  I have dim sun and bright splashing going on here in Ayer.  Though we were definitely N of the warm boundary here, we may still benefit from the sun's power to usurp the atmosphere into drying. Interesting

Probably will break up a bit over the inteior just ahead of that next s/w as it tries to stir up the atmosphere a bit.
