sailordon
First attempt to use camcorder on dashboard while driving through thunderstorm. The autofocus caused the camera to focus on the raindrops on the windshield which put the rest of the video out of focus. But I think the thunderstorm activity is still worth posting. Strong evidence of damaging straigh line wind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=E6-EsEFX500
WestWind
Thanks for the video. I was wondering what the storms I was seeing on the radar in the south yesterday looked like in person. Seems like most of the decent lightning activity is staying in the south this season. I saw one strike for sure in the video. I used to have the same problem with autofocus back with my very first camcorder in 1992. Missed many good lightning shots by not remembering to override autofocus and set focus to infinity.
