Eskimo Joe
Anybody expecting flooding is in for disappointment. The ground is plenty dry and this storm is zipping on through.

Bob Chill
Pretty good connection happening between the shield over us now and the center of circ. Hard to say who stays under the heaviest returns the longest but there will be a stripe of heaviest precip close by or overhead.
MN Transplant
Twins/Nats postponed already. Would be funny if the rest of it slid by to the east, but a dry evening is quite unlikely.

smokeybandit
Anybody expecting flooding is in for disappointment. The ground is plenty dry and this storm is zipping on through. I live in a pretty sump-inspiring spot, and even with the rain last night, the sump pump is running like 2-3 times an hour (compared to storms past in which it was running once every 3-5 minutes)
Bob Chill
Stupid steady and then some here. You might be the afternoon jackpot. Stuff coming up from RIC has your name on it. Good thing is that the potomac basin N of moco won't get hammered. Impacts on the potomac in your stomping grounds won't last long.
WEATHER53
Had some moderate-heavy for several hours before midnight so event total now up to 2.4".

It was already a little muddy so it will not be that great for Monday but by later in the week the Everstart guys will be practicing, they have a 3 day tourney starting the 20th. Ian
Chad Myers said the storm is moving twice as fast as yesterday so half the rain of yesterday is expected. Is that how it works?

MN Transplant
What do you guys think about flights into DCA tonight? I have one from San Juan to DCA that lands at 10. There are some delays in Charlotte and fewer in Raleigh right now, and they are kind of in the position DCA should be in tonight. Not an aviation weather expert though. The NYC/PHL airports are a mess.
smokeybandit
What do you guys think about flights into DCA tonight? I have one from San Juan to DCA that lands at 10. That flight is probably safer than others since it probably just goes back and forth to San Juan and won't get stuck in any messes at other MA/NE airports.
