TWCCraig
If this was winter, we'd be stressing out about that dry slot south of Delware... Also an area of clearing skies racing north. Wouldn't be surprised if I see a peak of sunshine late today.

TalcottWx
The low is tracking northeast. There has been convection firing on the edge of that dryslot. I think it definitely overtakes all of SE MA. BOS-PVD will be right on the line.... Could be that type of rain where heavy rain one minute, a lull the next, seems like being near the dry line in winter or summer always results in very cellular type of overrunning rains that might even have a peek of sun. (or sky since it would be nighttime)
OSUmetstud
dryslot has significantly less power this time of year given instability and high pwats...though the precip turns more showery with thunderstorms and becomes feast or famine.

CapturedNature
1 inch now here... how much you got there? 2.5" looking easier and easier. That just goes to show you how off some tipping gauges can be. I measured .25" this morning in my 4" gauge while the electronic one only had .09". That same gauge is reporting .63" when the actual amount is over an inch. There's a reason I like my old manual equipment!
