powderfreak
BTV WRF can't even handle it... Has a pretty widespread area of 3-6" and although its hard to see, there is a bullseye of over 7" in the southeast slopes of the Catskills in SE NY.

CoastalWx
So a pivot over E. Mass means higher rain totals? Well the "pivot" may not be in ern mass this time. However other processes are there to pile up the rain.

That was an epic epic band. We may never see the likes of it again when you include all aspects like frequent CG and 100mph winds.

OceanStWx
torrential rains here...radar almost seems underdone with what is actually falling. You're going to see that a lot in the next 12-18 hours. These tropical style rainfalls will feature a lot of relatively smaller drops (so lower dBZ). Look at dual-pol products like KDP to find the heaviest rainfall as drop size will not taint the signal.
