JerseyWx
Re the discussion on climate gradients, cool site to look at differences throughout the USA: http://www.bonap.org/Climate%20Maps/ClimateMaps.html NJ is one of the only states in the East with three climate zones (NW, C, S): Very cool. New Jersey is such a diverse state. The mountains, the valleys, the shore, the cities, and even the the Farmland communities experience unique weather, which is amazing considering how small the state actually is. jm1220
What a crazy season, marked mainly by one storm. I wonder how many seasons there are where High Point or West Milford received as much as or less than Cape May?
JerseyWx
Looks great Tom. I had 31 inches total for the season.
Isotherm
Thanks guys. Good to hear that your numbers are consistent with what is depicted. What a crazy season, marked mainly by one storm. I wonder how many seasons there are where High Point or West Milford received as much as or less than Cape May? This was certainly the worst winter on record for NW Sussex County, I believe. 2001-02 was snowier in northern Sussex, and a bit less snowy in the West Milford area. Given the spread in averages, I would think the probability of the situation you mention occurring would be close to 0.
