LithiaWx
Is there any wind with it? That line looks like it might contain some gusty winds. Just a nice heavy drenching rain with some vivid beautiful lightning and a few decent gusts but nothing much to note wind wise.
GaWx
Is there any wind with it? That line looks like it might contain some gusty winds. Thank goodness, no. I've had enough of the gusty winds for awhile lol. I could do without another power outage. Eight hours was enough. Garden variety thunderstorm is just fine. It is coming down here in Dunwoody pretty hard.
dsaur
Got 1.3 in the early morning hours. Couldn't get to sleep until after 5 am. ThunderFest is in full sway. It boomed and banged, and poured, for hours after about 2:30. T

metalicwx366
95 with a heat index of 107. I don't know where the 60% of rain is at. Should be numerous thunderstorms in and around our forecast area.

metalicwx366
Picked up 1.37 inches from a storm this afternoon When it rains, it pours. At least your backyard can receive rain. Well I can't complain, we received our entire month's worth of rain in the first 10 days of June. Nothing for the last week though.
toxictwister00
Damn Atlanta. Storms just training on the south side of the area. Some really rough flash flooding is ongoing down near the airport tonight from what I saw on the local news, lot of streets swamped with standing water . Looking at the radar it looks like another wave of heavy rain is gonna sweep through there soon.

SharonA
No flooding here, but some nice t-storms came through earlier today and another one is passing just to the south - Tuscumbia and south Muscle Shoals seem to be getting it. We even seemed to have had a tiny patch of possible rotation developing in the last couple of frames on the radar. Of course this is when GRLevel3 decides it can't connect .... grrr
dsaur
Another 1.3 in the last hour. Got a leak in the new roof...I think it's around the stove vent. Fun times for Tony on the roof tomorrow, but at least I'm starting to catch up with the rest of you. 2.6 in less than 24 hours ain't bad. Isopycnic
8 drops per square foot last evening. Just enough to settle the dust in 8 individual circles. Kind of cute actually. Good thing everything was dry by the time I got home, that would have been horrid to be caught out in that type of deluge. Woke up to thunder around 3am only to realize that it was either me or my cat farting that woke me up into a thunderstorm dream.
Solak
Supposedly in the bullseye again today - we'll see. Had almost a trace of sprinkles last evening just after dark - didn't wet the cars or ground - just a couple random drops. Today's QPF map

Well, apparently the hazy, wavy, vortex worm hole thingy has parted, and we are no longer connected. I got another 1/2 over night, after the evening deluge. And it's 80 at 2pm in the middle of June..hard to believe that after all these recent summers...but I'll take it, and appreciate it. If your cat is loud enough to wake you up, might I suggest Kitty Beano for the Flatulent Feline.... When Cat Farts Sound Like Thunder!!....that might be a bad case, lol. Blue Ridge
Pouring rain here. Has been for the last hour. That sums up spring and early summer rather well, however. According to my CoCoRaHS reports, 29.22" of liquid has fallen in my backyard so far this year.
