Is there any wind with it? That line looks like it might contain some gusty winds.

Thank goodness, no. I've had enough of the gusty winds for awhile lol. I could do without another power outage. Eight hours was enough. Garden variety thunderstorm is just fine. It is coming down here in Dunwoody pretty hard.

Damn Atlanta. Storms just training on the south side of the area.

Some really rough flash flooding is ongoing down near the airport tonight from what I saw on the local news, lot of streets swamped with standing water . Looking at the radar it looks like another wave of heavy rain is gonna sweep through there soon.

No flooding here, but some nice t-storms came through earlier today and another one is passing just to the south - Tuscumbia and south Muscle Shoals seem to be getting it.  We even seemed to have had a tiny patch of possible rotation developing in the last couple of frames on the radar.

Of course this is when GRLevel3 decides it can't connect .... grrr

8 drops per square foot last evening. Just enough to settle the dust in 8 individual circles. Kind of cute actually. Good thing everything was dry by the time I got home, that would have been horrid to be caught out in that type of deluge.

Woke up to thunder around 3am only to realize that it was either me or my cat farting that woke me up into a thunderstorm dream.

Well, apparently the hazy, wavy, vortex worm hole thingy has parted, and we are no longer connected.  I got another 1/2 over night, after the evening deluge. And it's 80 at 2pm in the middle of June..hard to believe that after all these recent summers...but I'll take it, and appreciate it.

If your cat is loud enough to wake you up, might I suggest Kitty Beano for the

Flatulent Feline.... When Cat Farts Sound Like Thunder!!....that might be a bad case, lol.  T
