WinterWxLuvr
The NAM and GFS sure do have a different axis for the heaviest precip totals. Anybody know where the Euro has it?

WxUSAF
The NAM and GFS sure do have a different axis for the heaviest precip totals. Anybody know where the Euro has it? 0z Euro was more GFS like with the coastal areas getting the most IIRC. I imagine NAM would blow chunks (even more than usual) in a hybrid tropical-mid lat low. want. storms. now. Cloudette's coming to help!

FrederickWX
Just took a walk outside - humidity is definitely up from yesterday! Breeze helped offset it a bit, but you can definitely feel the difference today.

Changed our minds. The sun dropped behind the treeline and it is not bad out.
Eskimo Joe
I hope we get drenched. The greener the grass, the better! Our garden could use the rain. Also, doubtful this makes any big flood headlines in the Mid Atlantic. We need nearly 3" of rain in 6 hours to cause any problems as per the latest flash flood guidance. LongRanger
Andrea progged to slide through the Mid-Atlantic Friday. I can't recall a tropical system, even as minimal as this, impacting our area this early in the season.
WinterWxLuvr
I'd have to think the NAM is more correct with the heavier precip more inland than the GFS. I don't see how it would be so limited to the coastal areas with that se wind pushing that moisture up into the mountains. Could be wrong, probably will be. yoda
Also note on the NAM it takes the low itself very far inland (significantly to the left of the NHC track) True... but 00z NHC models took Andrea west of HSE... which would imply we get some sig rains here, or at least along the I-95 corridor
