That dry heat crap is ok to a certain point, but when you are talking actual temps 126-129 degrees, that will kill you , dry or not !!

burgertime
Hey there, I figured I would give everyone an update on my life because I know you're all dying to know. Got engaged to the ol' girlfriend that many of you know as Haley back in April and we just purchased our first home together last week. It's a 2500 SQ beast that is probably too big for us but I like having a lot of space. Work has been crazy and I've gotten to have some awesome experiences working music festivals including getting invited backstage to Edward Sharp and The Magnetic Zeros during Bonnaroo. The icing on the cake will be having lots of snow this winter. By the way I dig the wet cool summer but can get something to kill all these damn mosquitoes? Brick Tamland
Finally played my son's last t-ball game of the season last night before the storm rolled in. The game has already been rained out twice. Had to cut it short 10 minutes because we saw the storm coming. The clouds rolling in last evening looked wicked, like that scene in Independence Day where the aliens were coming. calculus1
I thought this image of the forecast in Las Vegas from Accuweather was quite hilarious, particularly the statement at the bottom. As if 108 F today was not hot enough to constitute a heat wave yet. Man, I'm glad I don't live in the desert SW. Let's keep that trough here in the east for once, and I'll enjoy my wet, unsettled, cooler than normal temperatures.

metalicwx366
. Because you got like 4+ inches the other day, right!!? Don't be greedy! True. The areas that received 4+ inches of rain are the areas that didn't rain. From here to the east saw little.

dsaur
Sorry about that, Larry. I'm afraid the little guys were too hung over to work on the weather yesterday. They some how got some money to hire the limo early, so they headed up to Atl to party with the groupies. They were worthless yesterday. I had heavy storms, and rain, all around me, and not a drop here, but the good news is I have yet to see a 90 in my yard, so unless it warms up quick, I expect no 100's on the Fourth, and no hot weather the rest of the summer!!! In my yard, anyway, lol. T

jburns
Well, I always try and look at the bright side. I've already come up with two positives results of the expected weather for my beach week. 1. It looks like some chasing and weather photos might be in my immediate future. 2. The, "Don't touch me I'm so sunburned" mantra won't save my wife this trip!
