SW VT looks to have some over running heavy rain coming, already seen a ton of rain there lately.

WEATHER ALERT: Flash Flood Warning

BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED

FLASH FLOOD WARNING

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBANY NY

253 PM EDT SUN JUN 2 2013

The National Weather Service in albany has issued a

* flash flood warning for,

southwestern bennington county in southern vermont,

this includes the city of bennington...

* until 545 PM EDT

* at 251 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated

flash flooding from a thunderstorm over the warned area.

* locations in the warning include but are not limited to shaftsbury

and bennington. some road washouts are possible with rain rates

exceeding an inch in an hour.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small

creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses

as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

a flash flood warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

if you are in the warning area move to higher ground immediately.

residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate

precautions to protect life and property. do not attempt to cross

swiftly flowing waters or waters of unknown depth by foot or by

automobile.

Cell up by Chelsea VT looking pretty healthy.  Big area of maxed out VIL showing up enx/gyx/box radars

Thinking of heading up to Bradford/Newbury NH to catch that S VT area, even so it might be angling too far N.

lol it's really just a big mess, no shear down that way.  Nice storms, though.

 

Yeah this probably be one of those days where we get a million warnings and the worst thing that happens is a dead tree limb falls into an above ground pool.
