Earlier in the week Thursday/Friday was looking like the big finale with widespread heavy rain/storms across Iowa, but it hasn't panned out.  Most of the heavy stuff has been pushed well south and east.  Some models had the morning MCS to my south turning northeast across the southeast third of Iowa, but it's still moving east.

I've had 4.06" of rain since last Saturday, but it could have been much worse.  The Monday night flood event didn't pan out, the Tuesday and Wednesday storms missed me north and south, and the heaviest rain in general was not as widespread as what the WPC had shown on their qpf maps(6+ inches for the entire state).
