DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE 07.00Z GFS ANDECMWF REMAIN WITH THIS FEATURE AS THE GFS NOW GOES FURTHER SOUTHWHILE THE ECMWF IS FURTHER NORTH. SHOULD THE ECMWF SOLUTION PANOUT...THE THREAT FOR FLOODING WILL BE ELEVATED GIVEN RECENTRAINFALLS AND HOW SATURATED THE GROUND IS. THE 07.00Z ECMWFSCENARIO WOULD LEAD TO AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF HEAVY RAINFALL WITHAN MCS OR TWO IN THERE WHILE THE GFS/GEM WOULD KEEP THIS FOCUSFURTHER SOUTH. The models are backing off the rain event tonight/Sunday. For days it was looking like a good, solid band of rain would move through here tonight, but now it may just be some scattered light rain. These light rain systems are pointless because they still screw up any chance of good weather, but you get practically no rainfall to show to them.
