I sure hope this map doesn't come true or anything close to it!

Next 72 hours.

00z NAM has a rainy deluge in the next few days for the I-96 area. 2.5" or more for Michigan, Ontario, New York State- Grand Rapids, London ONT, Buffalo.

so much water falling from the sky in SW Wisco.....again

That part of the state is never going to dry out this summer! Exact opposite of last year at this time.

Looks like I'll get at least clipped by this complex... probably towards 2am.

Another batch of showers and thunderstorms approaching, after 1-2" of rain overnight.  If it weren't for good spacing between MCS', flooding would be a bit of an issue here, but the t'storm clusters have usually been 2-3 days apart, though Friday and today the MCS' are much closer in time.

Almost an inch here...my God i'm so sick of rain and clouds and now humidity... its like a wet dog out there...temps haven't even been hot, but still run the AC because the dew points are staying in the high 60Fs for the most part.   Can' t open the windows unless you want swamp a$$.   Horrible brown rot on the cherries along with a ton of cracking.

I have big doubts we see much real hot weather this year.    One 90F reading so far this month.

It's been raining here since about 2:45am. The initial storm line contained a lot of C-G lightning. Some of which set off car alarms!

0.81"

Up over 2 feet for the year so far.

More to come...

Wow geos,

How are the crops holding up from all the rain?

Well in this area, they do seem to be stunted a bit. That could be partially due to the cool start to the growing season. There's standing water in the fields today.

It's going to have to dry out or else farmers will be dealing with fungus' and root rot pretty soon.

This month could end up being a 6" rain total.

Edit: 18z NAM predicted 36 hour rainfall. Enough rain already!

Yes, we were off to a slow start as well. Still some standing water in the fields from the 3 inch dumping Saturday. Looks like more tonight. Crops and my garden have exploded the past week with adequate moisture, cool nights, warm humid days.

Made it to 85 with lots of clouds around most of the day.  Very humid out though.  Picked up 0.34" this morning.

Some of the fields around here have standing water in them again.  The one that had been under water for about a month close to here is back under water again.  The soybeans had just started growing there too in the last week or so.  Many of the fields around though have quickly growing corn.  Some of the corn is already up close to waist high.  Really popped up in the last two weeks.

Your reverse psychology or whatever that was about the death ridge settling in seems to have paid off.

For now...

;)

Not sure what the biggest fail was though: the GFS with it's never gonna rain again, MEX MOS with 90 forever...or the local weatherman.
