daddylonglegs
Lake wind=free AC ...can't beat that. Need a condo along the lake shore Although the girls might have to wear jackets instead of thongs
wisconsinwx
You betcha DLL. Its nice to have the free AC as long as you can still have some nice tstorms which we have had as well lately.
Geos
Been a nice mix of weather this month for the most part. Officially 88° at UGN. Small thunderstorm heading this way from the Lake Geneva area. Lake front pushing into the north side of Kenosha now. Edit: Would be interesting if the incoming thunderstorm and the lake breeze met right overhead. wisconsinwx
Backdoor cold front/lake breeze just pushed in with a developing thunderstorm just NW of here. Will be interesting to see how this transpires.
Geos
Thundering here now. Looks to be a quick storm. Already 67° just north of downtown Kenosha. This isn't even a storm really, just a shower.
wisconsinwx
Yet another thunderstorm has commenced. Temp has dropped into the low 70s. Edit: another nice storm! Torrential downpours, modest wind and small hail. Temp now down to 66F.
Geos
Still up over 80° here. The storms to the north are quite visible here. Thinking the outflow will help speed up the back door cold front.
cyclone77
89 here today, but dews in the 50s so it didn't feel that warm. Some bubbling cumulus this afternoon but they are for decoration only.
Chicago Storm
One of the few times I'll have said this... Too bad we couldn't lock in the 12z GFS from now through 384hrs. Tons of heat potential and MCS activity...perfect.
Geos
Backdoor cold front swung through about 20 minutes ago. Really nice 70°.

wisconsinwx
Looks like another largely beautiful week, anywhere from upper 60s into the 70s every day. This kind of summer so far is my favorite, alternating pleasant dry weather and warm stormy weather.
michsnowfreak
DTW made it to 87F today...by far the hottest day of June thus far. The temp at DTW fell from 84F at 7pm to 73F at 8pm with no storm, wind, or fanfare, it was actually a shock to the system to step outside at 8:30 and feel how awesome it felt after how hot it felt when I got off work at 5pm. (we did have a brief thundershower around 9pm) Now onto 3 or 4 gorgeous days...I can deal with this type of setup all summer Checked the local wunderground station by me...temp fell from 87.4F at 6:32pm to 73.0F by 7:17pm....14.4 degrees in 45 minutes.....with NO storm...NO noticeable kickup in the breeze....NO change in the sky conditions...cant remember the last time Ive seen that. Powerball
Hmmm, this must be a typo by DTX for this Saturday... Saturday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 74. No way with the 850mb temps and thickness values progged, even with convection.

hawkeye_wx
I'm loving the consistent warm weather. 70s on cooler days and 80s on warmer days, can't beat that. The garden has really responded to the increased sun and heat. Now we just need to get a nice storm or two this weekend.
daddylonglegs
Low temps around 70F this weekend...Sat could hit 90F. She's going to be a little sticky. Beautiful couple of 70F days until then...
