Chargers09
Where'd you get your confirmation? The public reported a tornado in the town of Leslie, but the fire department could find no funnel, only rotation. EMA is checking on a damage report. All per chat, but nothing confirmed yet. IWXwx
Via meteorologist Tom Kippen on facebook. Ok, I've just not seen any confirmation on NWSChat. Yes, rotation has weakened on the past 2 scans.
kevlon62
75/62 with sun breaking through. A few small showers gliding by to the north.

IWXwx
EMA reporting only a couple of trees down and quite a few branches. Otherwise, no substantial damage found yet.
Hoosier
Instability in model land right now is a problem but wow at the shear profiles/crossovers for Friday. This off the 18z NAM. End of the week looks pretty interesting in a general sense but I'm sure one day's convection will affect the next in some way.
The Great Zo
Just saw what apparently was a wall cloud while driving south on I-75 through Monroe County into Toledo. Was kind of distant (small cell, and was moving off into the lake by then) so I wasn't sure on it, but I found several similar reports from credible sources on Twitter. West and northwest of the lowering was a crap ton of scud, with a good bit of upward motion. No rotation at all. Had I been 10 minutes sooner I might have driven right under it! Here's a picture from the south, looking north (not mine, and much more dramatic than what I saw): https://www.facebook.com/NeoweatherToledo/posts/387446434708574
Powerball
End of the week looks pretty interesting in a general sense but I'm sure one day's convection will affect the next in some way. But of course. BTW, prior to that t'storm with the torrential downpour on the eastside of the city, we also had low/rotating clouds. You could see them real nicely off I-94. A-L-E-K
convection lining up W-E just south of I80 might be enough to suppress action south of the city.

Thundersnow12
Hoping the stuff south of DVN can continue ENE with the mean wind into this area. Lot's of lightning down there.

I think it might just do that....following the 850 transport at least....but I am not very well versed in meso analysis

Hoosier
I don't know if this W-E convective orientation is particularly favorable for a severe threat, at least for something substantial wind wise.

Chitown Storm
the area between I-80 and I-88 is going to be under an E-W rain train for quite some time if this holds together.

And the stuff in southern IA is right behind it..could be a long night for wherever these two areas setup. And then you have the stuff in KS too. Chargers09
I was just about to post that. It has increased the past couple of scans. Starting to look like the previous storm. It has a bit more of an ESE jog compared to the other one though.
Chitown Storm
looking more like a heavy rain event in LOT. The storms are holding together, but losing some punch (and warnings) as they move east. As I write this storms exploding near Joliet in Will County.

As I write this storms exploding near Joliet in Will County. should see some impressive totals along the I80 corridor...wow at LOT tossing out potential 5" amounts. I still don't see anything major up around I88 but we'll get that answer before too long.
