I was looking at the severe chances for northern Ohio.

Toledo has 40-50 knots of deep layer shear right now. But, can it get CAPE (large enough for severe storms) ?????  Survey says.......   only if you turned on a propane heater.  The thermodynamic profiles around Toledo will feature maybe up to 1000 J/kg of CAPE at Toledo, with mid-level lapse rates that are not spectacular.

Wild, Sch. Stormer - took the roof, but not the walls!

About to get hit with the stronger end of this line heading in.

Had bit of a gust front move through. Pouring down rain now.

There is a tornado warning right now from EC for Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County. I saw that cell but didn't look like anything more than a thunderstorm. Has a confirmed funnel cloud 6 km south of Mount Forest. Maybe Harris is on it and sent that in   ^_^ .

EDIT: TWN just showed a picture of the funnel cloud on TV and it was a small white one. They said it was sent from Dave Patrick and the warning has now expired.

Unfortunately missed this one! Dave Patrick reported and uploaded a video of a brief tornado, EF0. Cell looked TINY on radar and there wasn't a single lightning strike associated with it so I didn't even bother heading out. Got burned in the end. Oh well that's weather I guess. Meal analysis was showing 45-50kts of shear and despite poor instability that cell was still able to spin something up. Congrats to Dave Patrick on that catch. He was the only one to witness it. Guy is a southern Ontario chasing machine.
