CT Rain
Actually it was fairly comfortable sleeping last night. Fairly weak sauce for a high dew/super torch heat wave.

CoastalWx
Actually it was fairly comfortable sleeping last night. Fairly weak sauce for a high dew/super torch heat wave. I had the A/C on, but it was surprisingly cool when I stepped outside at 5am.
CT Rain
I had the A/C on, but it was surprisingly cool when I stepped outside at 5am. I stayed at a friend's place up in Burlington... it's like 750ft there so some elevation helped I guess but it was really comfortable.

ORH_wxman
It's only early June...there have been some awful rainy/cold days in early June before. As much as we'd like to think we are quickly moving through summer, it's still like late spring/early summer overlap. You can still get good cold synoptic rainers this time of year. Lol, don't let reality in the way of some good hype. It was merely 1 year ago we had dead ratter stretch from June 4-7 with a late spring Nor' Easter. We set a record low max on June 4th actually in that one. And of course, who can forget the 2009 murk.
CoastalWx
June into July 2009 is a nice example for those who think we can't get massive - departures. Just take a peak.

ORH_wxman
I can't believe he used to fight Ryan on 90F temps. That's mindblowing. Yeah 6 years ago he would be talking about how he hasn;t had a single 90F day yet during this stretch. But he flipped the switch in 2008 and the hype machine has grown ever since. That's also around the same time he started getting more extreme in winter and telling us we'd see 6-10" from rogue shortwaves 5 days out. That's where the joke "I'm still waiting for my 6-10" of snow on 1/3" came from...that was 1/3/09.
