Lol its not that bad out this afternoon. 92 locally dews near 62 or so, i can take it, not even sweating walkin half mile. Its the 70 plus dews that kill

just a wonderful seabreeze down here at work, very very pleasant summer afternoon. Looks like an extended cool and wet period coming up.

There is a storm which passes just south of the area and heads NE the day before. But day 10 progs meh. Nice really cool week upcoming going to be tough to break 80, just perfect., winds are NW

Yeah nothing wrong with days of 80 and sun. Those forecasters that had 60's at day and 30's at night though not looking so good . Then Dr Dew returns late week

The record was 93 in 1937. CON's records only go back to 1903. Maybe they were confusing CON with BWI which was the only station to hit 94 on 6/1/1879.

lol Im not sure I saw anyone talking about 30s...even up here the lowest forecasts have been 42-45F at night. The northern tier may have some upper 60s highs for a couple days while SNE is 70s to low 80s. Certainly wont feel like this heat though...not even close. Just beautiful late-spring weather.

It's rare to have a day this hot without even a cloud in the sky here.

The revitalization of Carson/M St. Beaches continues. Huge recent influx of out of towners in the past ten years has resulted in the renaissance of the beaches in Southie. Politicians managed to get a good deal of cash a couple years ago to work on the beach and it has been extremely successful. Every weekend is packed with thousands of people and today was no exception. M St was packed like I have never seen before in my life. Beachgoers could be counted in the thousands. All young 20-35 y/o people. It's absolutely incredible and was a zoo up and down the couple miles of beach. Incredible how much this area has changed for the better. The city gets closer and closer and huge skyscraper hotels that did not exist on the southie waterfront now get closer and closer to the residential areas. There are waiting lists at every real estate agency for no specific properties, just the right to bid on anything that becomes available. The already what seems to be miles long BCEC convention center wants to expand even more. There is so many condominium projects with multiple story parking garages going up you can't keep track of them. Even the Old Colony projects has been two thirds knocked down and has been rebuilt into beautiful new buildings. Big money restaurants line the waterfront, and concerts at bank of america pavilion continue to attract more and more people into the neighborhood in the summer. The bar scene has taken off also. Lots of hip and happening bars are popping up everywhere and a drive down Broadway on a summer night you will see a ton of people just walking the streets going out.

It's awesome, property values skyrocketing. I'm a couple bucks of a taxi ride to downtown bars, and a 15 minute T ride from the Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox. There is a bus stop around the corner and we have managed to get our hands on a private parking spot even that I pay for two blocks away. An hour from the cape and an hour from the mountains. Beach 100 feet away.  Can't see myself moving, why would I. Hell, I might just get a real estate license whenever I graduate from school. Could make a killing. Old Southie is looooooooooooong gone.
