Damage In Tolland

94 here. So much for 100 at ASH. WTF is up with MOS?

Yeah I'm finding hit or miss 96 and 97s dappled around SNE, but it just isn't hitting at the NWS sites.

Part of the problem with this air mass is that it doesn't have any Sonoran EML -- you really need that pig 22-24C at 850mb, with deep layer westerlies to get everyone's temperature on the same page and uniform.  This is 17C stuff here, so we are maxing earlier in the day, and then doing the up-down ping pong with the temperature for 3 or 4 hours after the fact. You might ping 97 on the 2s with this, but the pongs make it impossible to sustain.

Lol it sure is. It's 60's dews easily and Aug pattern as Tip said. We said cool shot would back off and it did

To be clear... I never asserted what the sensible impact would be.  The statement comes from the appearance on the Euro, ...particularly in later frames (D6+), that the main band of the westerlies shifts into southern Canada.

I will say this much, though... If the Euro and GGEM are right in lifting the TC up the coast, yeah...rich theta-e would accompany that.

Yup. If verified its a muggy warm south flow pattern

  What's your high temp so far today?  Looks like we hit 90 for the first time this year...

I'm not sure...I'm not home attm.  I'm at work in Springfield (I'll let everyone guess which one).  My online thermometer says 90° I think that get's hot.  Probably 88 or 89?  I usually hit my high about 3-3:30 this time of year then the sun starts going below a hill to my west.

I was out running some errands the Truck thermo 102F reading in Stoneham, that was at idle but still (it's always been accurate in the past) consistent temps ranged from 97-99F while cruising. 93.7F at the home for the high.

Forkyfork is correct, the nukes are about to be launched in the Midwest, hands down more exciting and frightful.

Pretty much AWT this afternoon WRT MOS. Highest hourlies at MHT, CON, and ASH are all 94F...probably an in-between 95/96 at those sites.

Made it to 89.9F here so far...it's probably the high, but we'll see. We get up around 89F and then a big, fat Cu gets in the way and we cool down to 87F...rinse and repeat.

Dew was down to 60F here last hour...not so bad.

i'd rather watch the explosion that's about to unfold over the plains than this temp talk

Unreal, just a ticking time bomb.  Check out the PDS watch, high likelihood for everything, and SPC has 60% hail probs in central OK.

5000-5500 CAPE over central Oklahoma...
