Quote from "Tristate Weather" FB page

It may be the unofficial start to Summer this weekend but instead another snowy scene in upstate New York in Wilmington on Whiteface mountain today where a very rare late May snowfall dumped over 18 inches of snow in some parts of NY and also Vermont. So much snow fell that they had to close the highway for snow removal. Killington in Vermont opened the slopes for free skiing this weekend!

Mix sleet/snow currently here in Littleton, NH.  Changed from moderate snow with about 1.25" estimated.  Accumulation is covering the ground and trees, some slushy accumulation on the light traffic road in front of my house

33.5F snow. 1/2" past 30 minutes. Neighbors called asking if that was just thunder so it was not my imagination.

Tree branches already sagging. Ground white. Here's pic of truck

WOW... thundersnow on May 25th.

That's one of the most impressive pictures I've seen for an elevation of 1100ft...in an inhabited area.

I'd send that pic to GYX... they need to see that to believe it in their CWA.
