bluehens
We are getting flat out raked in downtown Wilmington right now. Black as night. All street lights came on. Continuous lightening and heavy rains. Not sure about wind because I'm on 8th floor but my windows are flexing and creaking.
Scott W
Also in Wilmington - extremely heavy rain, continuous lightning, and 20-30mph winds. No one is working - everyone is standing up in their cubes looking out the windows. Power has flickered a couple times. I've never seen it so dark at 9:15am - almost as dark as night. greg ralls
Incredibly dark here in King of Prussia as well.
Boch23
I never saw it as dark at it was. It actually looked like night out. Also I was on the edge of the hail here. Only pea size and some pretty strong gust.
Quincy
Just intercepted the line at Penns Grove on the Delaware River. Torrential rain, gusty winds and pretty good lightning. Pics are taking a while on my phone, so I'll post later I guess.
NJHurricane
Good raking...extreme heavy rain in the heart...lotta lightning...wind from my vantage point was just below severe would not be surprised if nearby localized severe gusts...National Park NJ gloucester county
Boch23
Also this was my ideal thunderstorm....A little bit of everything and minimal damage to anything.
ChescoWx
Just light rain now - rain so far today with the first storm 0.54" MTD now at 6.25" - interestingly this only ranks as the 20th wettest June so far here in Chester County based on my 1894 to present data set
johnc
Scored just a squirt of pea-sized hail with that one.
greg ralls
So now, we fasten our seat belts and get ready for the main show later today? 10% tornado threat per SPC.
Isotherm
I'm getting occasional loud thunder here w/ that line, so storms down in PHL must be sick.
NaoPos
So now, we fasten our seat belts and get ready for the main show later today? 10% tornado threat per SPC. It all depends on if we can clear out in time. I'm skeptical of that

Nothing is going to happen in PA the line will be far south of DC and the cloud cover will limit even that.

I do think the mcs could have an influence on how far North the wf can advance, just not sure how much. I wouldn't be ready to write off pa just yet. ezweather
Out here in Atlantic City, did observe it getting really dark and the skies really opened up. Torrential downpours and visibility down to nohting. Did observe some small pea size hail for a couple of minutes. Did get pretty windy. Side note, back home, of all times my weather station is offline. Darn connecting must be going, so have no idea how strong the winds were back in Voorhees. Curious if anyone out there measured any winds.. Anyway, let's see how round 2 could be shaping up.

HM
I am becoming interested in E-C, SE PA into the Delaware Valley / C&S NJ for later this afternoon. Excellent differential cyclonic vorticity advection and deep layer shear with BL recovery likely. The only thing I would say is watch the surface winds as the low moves erratically south/east. The warm sector will likely become largely unidirectional but any backing locally would significantly enlarge hodographs near strongest pressure falls/warm front. HM, we have sun and about 75-80 now in Harrisburg/Hershey area. But I'm thinking I wanna chase from rising sun md to Newark Delaware. Would that seem like a good corridor in your opinion? Also any ideas on timing? I gotta get moving.
