Numerous people just west of me are reporting they saw a tornado towards Victory Lakes. Thank god it just missed us in Collings Lakes as I was blocking Route 54 for a fatal MVC at the time. I've never seen inflow before like I saw right before it hit. Every single low level cloud was just rushing into the storm. Hammonton has a lot of damage also, trees, wires, poles, etc. Franklin Twp. also.

Very powerful thunderstorm complex this morning.  The dual-threat

of flooding/severe was on full display in the south-central portion of

the region.

According to the Mt. Holly AFD, The wind damage in eastern

Gloucester/NW Atlantic counties has been determined as straight-line

winds, which correlates well to the radar image posted earlier when the

line was near Victory Lakes.  The Shamong-Indian Mills roof and tree

damage also is, but must have been tougher to determine.  I managed

to find a radar image posted on another site showing the terminal

doppler velocity data with a couplet in the Shamong general area.

Manahawkin was obviously a tornado as posted, but I am a little

curious about the time listed.  The end time is also not listed, which

would determine whether or not the tornado was still occurring at the

time of the warning issuance.  The Northeast-Elkton damage is still

pending I believe.  I would imagine a quick survey might be done, as

I remember seeing both BWI and PHL with couplets in that area, and

both were far away from the location.  DOX had a good angle on

the storm, and it showed a solid-looking supercell with an impressive

meso as well.
