I appreciate it! On the severe side my claim to fame is catching the Wilson NC tornado during the historic 4/16/2011 outbreak (my profile pic).

Yeah I saw that. That's awesome and what a day that was.

 

It's pretty easy going here. We clown around..but many of us know each other and when it comes down to it...I think the met discussion is second to none during significant events.

THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...PAWLING...BEACON...
LITCHFIELD COUNTY IN NORTHERN CONNECTICUT...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...TORRINGTON...NEW MILFORD...

* UNTIL 115 AM EDT FRIDAY

* AT 700 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
FLASH FLOODING FROM THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WARNED AREA. MORE
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL TRAIN ACROSS THE WARNED
AREA OVERNIGHT. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES CAN

Yeah it was s o close I could almost hear it..We had a light shower ..Had .02 the whole day here.  That next rain train over Fairfield Cty may be able to ride thru here.

I drove back from Concord, NH this afternoon and was just on the eastern edge on the rain the whole way looking at the radar.  It only really rained just as I came down into the flat lands of Ellington.
