I was just trying to make a point that it's cold up there and we keep getting these cold shots into May, so maybe there is a connection? The whole intermountain west will be unseasonably cold this week with lots of low elevation snow, so it's not just Alaska that's cold. 52F here with light rain, 17F below normal.
