Very different situation, but I recall that trough around Obama's inauguration that just could not yield a decent low and the weenies at EUSWX wasted a good week pleading and willing some s/w to get the job done. As awfully as I missed the boat with respect to this latest fail, I have nailed this December in my seasonal outlook; I called for a cold, dissapointing month with a ton of failed potential.
