Damage In Tolland

"Much below normal" streamflow continues in and around the Tolland County area.

Not a surprise given that the current streamflows are compared to historic streamflows for this date. If you were to compare current streamflows to typical late summer/early fall streamflows they'd be above average in most cases.

Showers are falling apart. Looks like not much rainfall today, outside of SW CT. A few heavier downpours may clip that area over the next few hours.

 

Tomorrow looks mostly dry and even Saturday may not yield all that much rain if the latest model data is correct...

Glad to see some beneficial rains, after a ravaging week of fires here in NE CT, things should now quiet down! ;)

1st Pic- Brush fire in Thompson on Sunday. 2nd- Flatbed with bales of card board on fire, extending into woods in Thompson Monday 3rd- Building Fire in Thompson Wed (Almost like the big city!)
