I have been completely out of the loop over the past month thanks to school, work, and other obligations. Despite not having the time/forethought to enter my precipitation reports into the database, I had kept track. This is the multi-day precipitation report I submitted to CoCoRaHS yesterday:

4/17/2013   5/22/2013 8:00 AM   TN-UC-5  9.46 0.00 TN Unicoi

Needless to say, it has been wet. Tuesday night featured the worst flash flooding I can recall, topping the flooding seen last summer. Numerous roads were closed across town, including Main St. Personally, I have been cleaning up a basement flood. I last mowed Monday evening, and it looks like I will mow again tomorrow. :underthewx:

Got an apparent hail storm (0.50") to my NW, wish I had known about it earlier.  Here in FAY it's just windy, humid and cloudy.  Looks like there is going to be a quick storm passing through in a bit though.

The storms are really firing up to my SW now.  Checked TWC's app radar when I got home about an hour ago and wasnt much on the radar.  There is a storm in Darlington, SC heading this way that looks interesting.  edit:  Well, it did.  It has died quite a bit :P:(

Picked up 1.47" yesterday IMBY, but I wasn't here to see it. We had some good rain up in Garner/Raleigh (Lake Wheeler & Tryon Rds) where my wife is still in the Physical Therapy Rehab facility from her December surgeries, but nothing like we got here. That brought the total since Sunday to 5.45", which is more than one-third the yearly total before this weekly event started. Prior to Sunday, we had only had a little more than 13" for the entire calendar year.

I hear ya, low 70's nice breeze dry air ( well at least compared to the last week) and they are calling for lows in the low to mid 40's tonight....I plan to spend most of the weekend on the Pamlico Sound fishing.

Hello from the Gorge in Washington state at Sasquatch!. It's 46 and raining currently. Interestingly enough there is still snow on many of the mountains coming just out of Seattle. In fact there is even some snow on the ground in the lower elevations. Certainly fun to see around June.

Beautiful day here.  Bright blue skies, 70º for a high with humidity in the low 40s and a nice breeze makes for a winning combination.

Indeed, Mr. Burns. I am enjoying having the windows open and with the cooler temps and lower humidity. There has been a steady wind blowing today as well which just adds to the comfort. Feels like New England when I was there in late August last year.

Excellent description. I compare it to upstate NY on a beautiful summer day. Breezy, cool and wonderful.
