Bull so far. The storms kept backbuilding from east to west until they reached the brick wall near Waycross. The MCS that went through Marietta's backyard looks like it is going to miss my backyard by several miles if you extrapolate the storm track. Oh well there's tomorrow and the rest of the week.

Serious flooding looks likely in southern walker county Georgia over the next few hours. They have had over 8 inches of rain today and the storms look primed to train right over them all evening. Somebody in NW Georgia may crack 12" before it ends.

Got about a third this afternoon with some light thunder.  Looks like more might drop down before long. 1.15 for the last few days.  Not great, but oh, so much better than the last bunch of years offerings.  Still I'm not in Mayretta territory, though he is not in Marietta any more, so I guess he isn't either :) T

My first Knoxville Hailer!   I was surprised by the size of the hail so I went running out to get the car in the garage and actually got gouged in the arm....damn things were very spikey! That is a quarter on the counter....

Awesome!!                    Sorry about the boo-boo on your arm :(   :P

CAE recorded about 3/4" yesterday, but not the first drop fell imby  :(

The line that passed through TN/AL last night didn't do anything interesting here that I know of (Lauderdale County on AL's NW border).  Thunder woke me up around 2:40am but died down as it passed over.  In the end it was just some light-moderate rain and no real light show.

Now it's just overcast, pleasantly cool - not yet warm enough to turn the humidity into "sticky" - and we're waiting to see what the afternoon brings as the wave passes through.
