Finished the day at 1.82, up to 4.12 for event and now adding more. At least the creeks and river have crested and headed down, but they did that yesterday only to go straight up once the rain started again. A 'coolish' 49 degrees. That thing is going in the trash when I get home today. In any event, that was a good 'ol fashioned spring-time gully washer. Take that, pollen. To comment on the recent string of weather..... AWESOME. If this type of weather were more typical around here, then I might actually like spring. Just like in 2009 when I considered for a time that summer might actually be OK. I'm not exactly sure how much I got, but the closest weather station was reporting something like .9" before the storm that came through in the late evening, so I'd say we probably ended up around 1.1"-1.2" or so total yesterday.
