powderfreak
Wow...we got up to a hot 69F at 12:59pm, then got hit with east winds and fell to 61F by 1:22pm. 61/55 after the switch to ENE winds.
powderfreak
I think most mets on here were touting how hard the temp forecasts were for this week...like 20F in either direction wouldn't be shocking. It would be nice if the meteorology was discussed a bit more. The trolls can post elsewhere if we need to hear the same ill-advised hubris every single day. Find the boundary, lol. Pretty impressive 20F jump/drop either side of it. Upper 50s and low 60s up here, while a few counties south are in the 80s. Looks like it just went through the Lakes Region of NH in Demerits and Eel's area too.

joey2002
Asphalt It made it to 85 here in Tolland, which is typically a good signal for 90 at BDL, since it's almost always 5 degrees warmer there.

Typhoon Tip
Yeah ...seeing the temperature behavior in the CT tells me ... combined with synoptic knowledge/experience that tomorrow has a fair shot at exceeding guidance in the upward direction some. Could see 90 in few locations where not contaminated by marine or convective processing.
Typhoon Tip
spectacular TCU viewing... Filmed a little, though it was warm up and not really keep-able. But some crispy domes that glaciated right around my area. Thunder now distant as this cell SW of me matures. Stuff in NYS state moving due east, while locally these cells are tending ESE... Thinking is the warm front is already starting to bulge back out there... Wondering if we may train into western Mass in a bit...
