Typhoon Tip
Hope folks got their AC units installed . This is deep deep summer Mine died on me last night. I turned it on and the cooling motor ran for about 5 minutes, then it cut out and left the fan running. I tried fiddling with the nobs but to no avail. It did sound like it tried to comeback on a couple of times, but it would turn right off. I think maybe the temperature gauge is hosed or something. I don't know... CoastalWx
Days like these remind you why it's so hard to keep snowpack south of the Pike. True, and why Ninas are horrible for those poor souls. Highs to the north FTW.

Come mid June I will want a week of 95-100F, but I'm fine with 70/35 days right now.
Typhoon Tip
This is impressive. It is 83 over 66 in Providence RI, and it is 64 over 58 at Logan last hour! You'd think that with less CIN and continued raging insolation, something should fire and run down that interface somewheres.

MaineJayhawk
+1 48.4°F here, with clouds and a raw east wind. You might be interested to know that your air temp is the same as Mount Washington. MWN has winds gusting to 45, though. Which is probably something more than raw

But if you want to play that game let's cherry pick the starting point to be 07-08. It all evens out to climo in the end. I was talking about the ability to maintain snowpack anyways.
