Tuesday looks like SE flow. Doubt high dews or really warm temps.

Could be a really nice day but I don't think Tuesday is summery.

Tuesday could be pretty miserable along the coast.  Even inland could be pretty blah, although the soundings would suggest we should see sunshine but doesn't really look good for convection here...maybe in NY/PA.

It's possible that it's ugly but it could be a SE flow without a ton of low level moisture (i.e. it may tend to mix out) under the inversion.

Yeah that's true.  The morning may be quite cloudy, however, soundings do dry the BL out and drier air aloft continues to mix down throughout the late morning/afternoon hours.  Dews may also be fairly high to start the day but they should come down quite a bit as the day goes on as well...may start from like low to near mid-60's dews then drop off into the 50's.

Received 0.44" rain overnight and this morning. Looks like the warm front wavers back and forth over NNE this week keeping us here in Maine with rain chances every day. Precip departure so far this month is -2.88". Much needed rain incoming.

Another interesting note, I have a -2.00°F temp departure for the month of May so far. More than likely thanks to daily seabreezes and many morning frosts at the beginning of the month. Only hit 70°F once this month and that was on 5/16.

Ive seen a lot of LR forecasts calling for torch June

My early guess is above normal, but not certain. You overall have to think warm summer with the AMO and PDO the way they are...although that is a very simplistic way of looking at it. The NAO also has a say too. I think this summer will be cooler than the previous two summers...but probably still end up on the + side. I don't mind that as long as we get some nice cool shots to relieve us from the heat. That's why our summers are the best while those poor souls in DC just fry. They can keep that.
