This is awesome!

Came home today to a $1600 check from Lyndon State for refund overpayment.  Seriously have no clue what that is about but that's awesome!  I'm giving my mom $1000 to get a car since she hasn't had a car since the late fall and I'm putting the rest away to save for a car for me as I plan on working towards my license this summer.

TEMPERATURES WILL
RETURN TO MORE SEASONABLE LEVELS FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK IF
NOT ABOVE NORMAL AT TIMES. LATEST INDICATIONS FROM THE 12Z GFS/ECMWF
SHOW THE POTENTIAL FOR HIGHS WELL UP INTO THE 70S TO NEAR 80 FOR THE
END OF THE WORK WEEK.

It's a sharp and short cool snap.   I was looking at AFDs out in the Lakes where this air mass is coming from, and they're expecting 2 day turn around on the order of 25F for highs.   Lows go from the 30 range to 55 in two nights.

This is similar to what we'll encounter.  I was looking at the overall mass fields and it really is kind of odd that this cool shot snuck in like this.

Down to 24F with 55mph winds on Mount Mansfield. 19F on Whiteface and 18F on MWN. A beautiful May morning.

Doubt we see any flakes down low but -RN at 41F in orographic showers at Morrisville-Stowe Airport. 39F at home. Snow level around 2000ft right now.
