I mean seriously, what is it 27 out of the last 30 days have been absolutely mint? Perfection, no mud no bugs no nada just sunnylicious sensations.

SPIN SPIN SPIN

I have not seen one post from anyone saying the weather has been bad over the last month.

Everyone seems to be on the same page as you. What is paying the piper have to do with anything?

It's old mannish and set in ways. Life is full of change. Embrace it

Life is full of changes...embrace the cool downs just like the mild-ups. Change is good, cold then warm then cold again. Don't get set in one frame of mind that one weather is the best....its not healthy and old mannish.

Nice rains again here. Not sure how much we'll be getting today, but May looks like it might be close to normal for the first half of the month.  One doesn't need to 'overcome' deficits.  All you need to is string together some near normals.  In that case,  the deficit--which will always remain--becomes progressively and continuually meaningless.

Sure am glad I got most of the 'public' areas of the lawn mowed yesterday afternoon/eastern.  First mowing of the season--even I thought it looked like crap.  Got it cleaned up for sunday's first Communion.  Glad it'll be a nice day.

So you misquote Phil saying moving away from a later winter/early spring look to a "more typical May" pattern as him saying we are going into deep summer.

Its a shame he doesn't post here anymore...but he hated stuff like that where his posts are spun into something different lol.

Yeah it's annoying. I see nothing about deep summer going forward.

Somehow Phil's post was said to be forecasting deep summer moving in when in fact this is what he wrote, lol. Blizz will think we are trolling him but why not just get the guys real thoughts out there.

"This will kick the abnormally chilly air out of southern Canada and parts of the US and allow for a more typical May temperature regime."

And then Kevin wonders why he gets crap and turns it into a pity party for him.

No, what he hated were the mods/admin and weenies all bickering and the mods trolling of everyone and making fun of people, He loved the board how it used to be. Not what it has turned into with the mods and weenies

Man some of you guys need to lighten up. Jesus. Makes this place miserable

I enjoy your posts dude and most of it is in jest.

For some of us this is just a hobby and a fun spot to shoot the sh*t...others its somewhere between a hobby and job. But sometimes I think about how this is what some of these guys do for a living, it's their career choice...I don't know, they might appreciate the respect of portraying their ideas accurately that's all. Not trying to be a a$$ about it.

In fact our rain deficit has gone up here, we are now -5.06 inches below since March 1, this was a complete non event here and did nothing to stem the beginnings of a problem here for the summer.  After a bone dry week we will be over 6 inches below normal rainfall since March 1.

Hype away.

Spin doctor I have over an inch so far with rain falling, sucks to live in the Sahara. Everything up here is deliciously green, the rivers are flowing fine full of trout. get out and enjoy today make it the best day of your life.

...STRONG WINDS AND SOME ACCUMULATING SNOW EXPECTED TONIGHT...

LOW PRESSURE DEEPENING TO THE EAST OF LAKE SUPERIOR LATE TODAY WILL

RESULT IN AN UNSEASONABLY COOL AIRMASS FLOWING ACROSS LAKE SUPERIOR

AND UPPER MICHIGAN BY TONIGHT. EXPECT STRONG AND GUSTY NORTHWEST

WINDS OVER 40 MPH ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR SHORE FROM SHOT POINT TO

MUNISING AND TO GRAND MARAIS. LAKE ENHANCED SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED AS

WELL AND THERE MAY BE SOME LATE SEASON SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. THE MOST

SNOW WILL OCCUR OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTH CENTRAL UPPER

MICHIGAN FROM THE HURON MOUNTAINS TO SKANDIA...AND IN THE SNOWBELTS

FAVORED BY NORTHWEST WINDS BETWEEN MARQUETTE AND NEWBERRY. IF

TRAVELLING NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR TONIGHT IN THESE AREAS...ESPECIALLY

ALONG M-28...EXPECT STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND THE POTENTIAL FOR REDUCED

VISIBILITY IN HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS.
